Situated a few hundred metres from the Playa de Troya beach, the 4 star Hotel la Siesta was built in 1985 and refurbished during 2004. Part of the Alexandre Group of hotels, the complex features 282 rooms, including 150 Superior class doubles, called "Club Alexandre" and 5 rooms specially adapted for the disabled guests.

All rooms are air conditioned and come equipped with en suite bathroom with shows and hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, minibar, sitting area, safe box (for hire) and a balcony or a terrace. "Club Alexandre" rooms are more spacious and include views over the pool area, a bath with hydro massage (Jacuzzi also available on request and for an additional fee), daily access to the health spa "Natural Spa and Wellness Centre", fruit and water in room on arrival as well as toiletries, a bathrobe and slippers.

Outdoors guest can enjoy a large outdoor swimming pool for adults with children's section, and spacious sun terraces with complimentary loungers and parasols, as well as snack bars and pool bars.

The Magic Park is an area of 350 square metres dedicated to the children’s entertainment within the Hotel. Divided into two areas, the Mini-Club and the Game Park, the first one is reserved for children from 2 and up to 9 years, supervised by an entertainer and will always be accompanied by the parents, while the “Game Park”, dedicated for children and adults, includes electronic games, table football, billiards and bowling, etc. which are payable locally.

La Siesta Tenerife Hotel offers a wide variety of activities for guests, including a number of sports, games and competitions throughout the day. Sport facilities available include, among the cardiovascular gym, tennis, five-a-side football, petanque and shot with carbine. In the evening the hotel has live music or a disco, as well as professional shows.
