Built in 1994 and refurbished during 2004, the 4 star Hotel Fañabe Costa Sur is located at 400 metres from the Playa del Duque beach and features 408 rooms, including 12 Junior suites, which spread over 4 floors.

All rooms at the Fañabe Costa Sur are either air conditioned or centrally heated (depending on the season) and come equipped with full en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV with music channels, mini bar, safe box (at an additional fee), telephone and have a terrace with table and chairs and views to either the sea, the mountain or the pool area. Family rooms and interconnecting rooms are available and come equipped with an additional divan and sofa (on request). Baby cots are also available on request.

The hotel provides as well some some facilities for guest with disabilities and provides wheel-in showers, shower seats and toilet raisers and wide doors (about 65 cm). Access throughout communal areas is also made easy for wheelchair users. (Editors note: in any case, please confirm details with the hotel before arrival).

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, a non smoking air conditioned buffet style restaurant serving international dishes and vegetarian menus, snack bar and cafeteria, games room, public Internet terminals, conference room as well as laundry and medical services.

Booking can be made bed & breakfast, half board, full board or you can also book the All Inclusive concept which runs from 07:30 to 23:00 (please note that not all kind of drinks and food are included).

Leisure facilities includes a large freshwater swimming pool for adults with integrated children's splash pool, surrounded by a furnished solarium with complimentary sundecks and loungers as well as a roof top swimming pool only for adults, offering guests panoramic views. The roof pool area has an space reserved for naturists.

Sport facilities at the hotel include tennis, basketball and football courts and table tennis.

The hotel's entertainment teams runs a daily program of activities including rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment featuring a children mini disco followed by live music and shows.
